Teaching Children Hatred for the USA Will Have Serious Consequences
Math/Reading scores in the toilet but American Hatred? Front and center.

When schools sideline reading and math—the very skills that determine whether a child can succeed—and instead devote hours to teaching students to view America as fundamentally corrupt, the academic fallout is immediate. Proficiency scores in both subjects are already in crisis, yet classrooms are increasingly consumed by ideological lessons that do nothing to build competence. Children who can’t read fluently or perform basic math are being pushed through the system unprepared, not because they lack ability, but because adults have chosen politics over education. A nation cannot thrive when its schools abandon the basics.
This shift isn’t accidental. It is a deliberate redirection of the classroom away from knowledge and toward ideology, and the consequences for students’ intellectual development are severe. When children are taught what to think rather than how to think, critical reasoning withers. Instead of learning to analyze evidence, debate ideas, or solve problems, students are trained to filter everything through a predetermined narrative of grievance and division. That kind of conditioning doesn’t build independent thinkers—it produces citizens who are easier to influence and less capable of navigating a complex world.
The long‑term result is a country weakened from within. Teaching children to resent their own nation doesn’t inspire them to improve it; it fractures the shared civic foundation that allows a diverse society to function. Purposeful indoctrination replaces unity with suspicion, gratitude with cynicism, and personal responsibility with perpetual victimhood. When schools choose ideology over literacy, resentment over reasoning, and division over competence, they are not building the next generation of Americans—they are undermining the very country those children will inherit.
