The USA is Being Destroyed Principle By Principle

"We" is being replaced by A Plethora of Identities rather than unity

Liberal ideology, as many conservatives argue, has moved far beyond healthy disagreement and into a direct challenge to the constitutional foundation that binds Americans together. By treating the Constitution as endlessly malleable—a “living document” that can be reshaped to fit the political fashions of the moment—progressive activists weaken the very safeguards the Framers designed to restrain government power. When constitutional meaning becomes subjective, individual rights lose their permanence, and the limits on government authority begin to erode.

This erosion accelerates through the growing use of identity politics, which divides Americans into competing groups rather than uniting them under the shared promise of “We the People.” Instead of emphasizing equal rights and equal responsibility, identity‑based ideology encourages citizens to see themselves primarily as members of racial, gender, or ideological categories. That mindset undermines the constitutional vision of a single American people with common rights and common purpose. It replaces civic unity with grievance, resentment, and a hierarchy of preferred groups—an approach that chips away at the universal principles the Constitution was built to protect.

At the same time, liberal ideology often pushes for centralized federal power that overrides local decision‑making and weakens the checks and balances essential to constitutional governance. Whether through expansive bureaucratic rulemaking, executive overreach, or federal mandates that sideline states and communities, this approach concentrates authority in ways the Framers explicitly sought to prevent. Conservatives see this not as a routine policy dispute but as a fundamental threat: a slow dismantling of constitutional structure, national unity, and the shared identity that once held the country together.
