All this while emphasizing the wokeness verbage of "inclusion and Diversity"

It is almost unthinkable that in a modern, supposedly enlightened era, children could still be subjected to practices that resemble something out of a distant and darker past. The shock comes not only from the cruelty itself, but from the realization that such behavior can occur inside institutions entrusted with the care and development of our children. When stories like this surface, they shatter the assumption that “it could never happen here,” reminding us that vigilance is not optional—it is essential.

For parents, the instinctive reaction is outrage, followed quickly by a pressing question: How could this happen without anyone knowing? The truth is that classrooms can become opaque environments when transparency is not prioritized. Parents deserve to know what their children experience each day, who is supervising them, and what disciplinary methods are being used. No family should have to rely on luck or whistleblowers to uncover the truth about their child’s safety.

That is why parents must feel empowered to demand visibility into the classroom. This can mean asking direct questions about disciplinary policies, requesting regular communication from teachers, attending school board meetings, and advocating for open‑door practices that allow parents to observe or review classroom environments, perhaps through direct online visual access to the classrooms. It also means building networks with other parents so concerns are shared, not isolated. When families stay informed, connected, and engaged, it becomes far harder for unacceptable practices to hide in the shadows—and far easier to ensure that every child is treated with dignity and respect.
