A Tribute to His legacy: by Rose McNaul

Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul recently joined 22 other attorneys general in opposing a new federal rule that would end abortion services and counseling at Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities. Raoul claims that limiting abortion care would harm veterans and their families. From a pro-life perspective, this is deeply concerning. Abortion is not health care; it is the deliberate ending of an unborn child’s life. Veterans deserve medical services that protect and strengthen them, not procedures that destroy life. Scripture reminds us that God forms each child with purpose in the womb (Psalm 139:13), which makes every life valuable, no matter the circumstances. Pro-life advocates argue that instead of expanding abortion, leaders should provide veterans with real support, such as better prenatal care, counseling, adoption resources, and programs that protect both mothers and their babies. By pushing abortion at VA hospitals, Raoul and others are sending the message that life is disposable, when in truth, honoring veterans should mean defending the dignity of every human being, including the unborn. https://illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/news/story/attorney-general-raoul-opposes-trump-administrations-proposed-rollback-of-abortion-care-for-veterans-and-their-families?utm_source=chatgpt.com
