iF NOT, children will suffer

Step Forward Before Our Children Pay the Price

Public education in Kane County is shifting—and not in ways that honor families, taxpayers, or children. Districts are pushing massive tax increases, and relatively new state laws that allow school boards to take on debt without voter approval.  When God‑fearing Christians fail to act, the enemy doesn’t just gain ground—he gains influence over the hearts and minds of our children.

District 303: A $300 Million Burden on Families

In St. Charles, District 303 is aggressively promoting a $300,000,000 referendum that could raise property taxes by roughly $800 per year for families for decades to come.  And under Public Act 103‑0591, school boards can now issue bonds without a referendum if they claim the project expands early‑childhood space—leaving taxpayers with higher bills and fewer protections.

District 304: Growing Concerns and Declining Trust

In Burlington School District 304, parents have raised serious concerns about:

  • Academic decline despite rising spending
  • Curriculum transparency issues
  • Escalating administrative costs while classrooms struggle
  • Questionable budget priorities
  • Policies that sideline parents
  • A widening disconnect between the board and the families they serve

These problems are not abstract. They affect real children—your children, your neighbors’ children, your church’s children.

When parents stay silent, the ones who suffer most are the kids sitting in those classrooms every day.

This Moment Demands Courage - School boards decide what children learn, how tax dollars are spent, and whether parents’ voices matter. If God‑fearing parents aren’t at the table, others will fill those seats—and they may not share your convictions about biblical character, parental authority, academic excellence, or fiscal responsibility.

You don’t need to be an educator. School boards need parents, business owners, retirees, veterans—ordinary citizens with integrity, common sense, and courage.

The question is simple:

If not you, then who?

The Final Word

Every school district in Kane County—large or small, urban or rural—needs brave, God‑fearing parents willing to step forward. This is not about politics. It is about stewardship, courage, and obedience to God’s calling.  The future of our schools will be shaped by those who choose to participate. Let it be shaped by people of faith.
