A website is a terrific tool for presenting information, sharing facts and gaining acceptance by voters for tax and spend policies, school management, public safety and more.

So let’s help our KC Democrats with some ideas about site content that reflect their values and ideas about governance. Site pages could include:

  • How to sell a tax increase to the public as a benefit, not a burden
  • Increase regulations on the public and businesses using “for the greater good” justification tactics
  • Challenge education standards, seek to reduce same and make school performance look better, report results to parents
  • Oppose all efforts to enact school choice, assure teachers union there will be no job losses from such programs
  • Aid and abet the Transgender movement, assure resources to promote gender identity, enable such issues in education system, and ally with government agencies, media, Hollywood and the culture to advance the issue over obstruction by family values advocates or other opposition
  • Increase pay and benefits, improve work conditions for public sector staff while convincing voters they deserve it
  • Align policy actions with the best interests of public sector unions, sell policies as actions in the best interests of the voters
  • Set standards for care of NEWCOMERS (aka illegals) to assure IL is a leader in funding housing, food programs, education and health care, deliver results as a sanctuary state
  • Adopt public safety policies and funding that reduce authority and budgets of police departments, deny support for officers doing their jobs with reduced immunity for actions taken in enforcement of the law, all while assuring citizens their neighborhoods are mostly safe
  • Oppose all efforts for election integrity, especially voter identity and limits on mail in balloting, while assuring voters this is about protecting democracy
  • Focus on continual growth and expansion of government at all levels, launch new services and programs to enhance impact on daily life in the community

Well, these are just a few ideas for consideration by our Democrat neighbors. It’s important that you share your ideas with the public, enable voters to make informed choices about candidates for public office.
